The FLIR Axxx thermal cameras with smart sensor configuration offer the monitoringg capabilities to accurately identify thermal issues within production processes. Think for example of a critical infrastructure, product quality monitoring and preventive fire detection. The Axxx series is fully and easily configurable to demands and wishes of your company which meet the needs in the area of quality, productivity, maintenance and safety. The Axxx cameras with a smart sensor configuration combines very sharp thermal images with with edge computing and IIoT capabilities for a versatile user convenience.

Most important features of the Axxx series (smart sensor):

• Multiple lens options (Field-Of-View) for an optimal ease of use (6°, 14°, 24°, 42°) and Dual FOV (14° + 24°)
• Multiple video and radiometric streaming capabilities to visualize the environment in real-time and afterwards analyzing the streamed data.
• Motorized focus control built-in for automatic focus of optics in the lenses.
• Possibility to carry out built-in analytics & alarms.
• Modbus TCO & EtherNet/IP for simplifies integration in HMI/SCADA systems and moreover easily send data and alarms from the camera to the client.
• RESTful API for simplified integration in Cloud solutions and Web applications and so more connectivity on the internet.
• MQTT for simple integration in IIoT systems (industrry 4.0).

Multiple configuration possibilities within the FLIR Axxx series

There another couple of configuration possbilities within the Axxx series. The first question is which resolution is desired in your application (320 x 240 (A400), 464 x 348 (A500) or 640 x 480 (A700)). The higher the resolution, the more details are displayed on the image, so even the smaller potential problems can be accurately visualized.

The A400, A500 & A700 are furthermore available with a standard configuration or with an advanced configuration. The difference between the two is that the advanced configuration has some extra functions for an even expanded ease of use.

Finally, the Axx cameras with all these possibilities are also available with a image streaming configuration equipped with GigE vision & GenICam, among others.
