Safely visualising gas leaks in hazardous environments (ATEX)
The FLIR GFx320 is a cooled gas detection camera suited for visualising gasses and emissions in hazardous environments (ATEX) on for example oil and gas installations. This camera is capable to visualise gas leaks from a distance outside of a dangerous ATEX zone as well as tracking down potential risks within a hazardous environment. This way, large areas can be scanned for leaking gasses fast. The FLIR GFx320 is the first handheld FLIR thermal camera with the Ex certification so inspectors can carry out their work safely and with confidence on dangerous terrains.
GFx320 Superior image quality for dual use
The GFx320 is besides detection gasses also good to use for the traditional thermography. The camera is also calibrated to measure absolute temperatures accurately. Minimal temperature differences ΔT can be visualised. The camera has and enormous contrast because of his cooled detector. With FLIR's unique High Sensitivity Mode (HSM) moving gasses are detected even faster. The camera filters the still images from the picture so only movement (of a gas) is becoming visible.
