The Kabuto can be mounted high in the middle above the door (3.5 to 6.5 meters high) and activate the industrial door by means of reliable detection. This can prevent the door from being left open unnecessarily or closing when people or objects are near the door. This benefits safety and ensures less energy losses in buildings and (air-conditioned) warehouses. The Kabuto uses both radar and active infrared technology to reliably determine the direction of movement of intersecting traffic. For example, the door can be opened or closed depending on the direction of movement.
Designed for industrial environments
- Sturdy housing with IP65 protection class
- Ideal for activating fast industrial doors in challenging environments
- Special filters for suppressing vibrations and other interferences
Optimized safety
- The safety area of the sensor in front of and around the closing door protects pedestrians from the dangers of rapid door movements.
- Kabuto can be configured to detect vehicle traffic only, forcing pedestrians to use an alternate door as the door cannot be activated by a pedestrian.
- Different timer settings can be configured
Less energy losses in buildings
- The detection area of the Kabuto can be adjusted precisely to all environments
- Unidirectional detection technology reduces hold time for doors.
- The "Cross traffic filtering" prevents unintended door activation
Easy configuration and set-up
- Easy to mount using the adjustable wall & ceiling mounting bracket
- Settings are easily changed from the ground using the wireless remote control
Compliant with guidelines
- Kabuto meets the basic requirements of the directives 2014/53/EU and 2011/65/EU
