The sks-15/CF/A is a very compact cube-shaped ultrasonic sensor from microsonic with 1x PushPull switching output and IO-Link interface has a measuring range from 20 mm up to 250 mm.
Very compact housing
The sks series is the smallest rectangular ultrasonic sensor from microsonic and has a housing that is 33% smaller in volume than the zws sensors. With the compact design the sks-sensor can be used in applications with very little mounting space. Examples of applications are the inspection of printed circuit boards and silicon wafers in the high-tech industry, detection on conveyor belts and level measurements in small containers. When capacitive or optical sensors do not provide a viable solution, the ultrasonic sensors from the sks series are the ideal choice because of the compact design and the M3 mounting holes.
Temperature compensation
The temperature compensation in analog ultrasonic sensors provide a significant improvement of the performance. After switching on the operation voltage the ultrasonic sensor reaches the point of operation after just 45 seconds. Influences from the internal and ambient temperature are compensated now. This provides an improved accuracy.
SoundPipe sks
With the SoundPipe sks 1 the sound pulse is narrowed down and it becomes possible to perform measurements in small openings and holes. The SoundPipe sks1, that is available as an accessory, is mounted on the transduces (sensor head) of the sks sensor in order to use it.
IO-Link sks
IO-Link version 1.1 is integrated in sensors with a PushPull switching output.
