General Description

The Neuron mA Digitizer is a battery-powered device that can convert an analog 4-20 mA industrial signal into a digital value. This digital value is transmitted wirelessly via a radio link.

The sensor is designed for industrial applications, where wireless transmission makes it easy to collect data from hard-to-reach locations. Battery power makes the sensor suitable for use in places without external power.

The digital output can be configured in the app, for example, so that 4 mA = 0 Bar and 20 mA = 10 Bar, depending on the application.

The sensor provides accuracy to 0.1% of full scale and resolution to 0.003 mA.


Operating principle

The Neuron mA Digitizer reads the analog DC current signal and converts it to a digital value.

Every 10 seconds the sensor measures the current and, if the change since the last measurement is greater than 2 mA, the sensor sends the data immediately. Otherwise, the data are sent every 2 minutes by default.

The sensor can be used for various industrial applications, such as:
