General Description
The Neuron VDC Digitizer is a battery-powered device that can convert an analog 0-30 VDC industrial signal into a digital value. This digital value is transmitted wirelessly via a radio link.
The sensor is designed for industrial applications, where wireless transmission makes it easy to collect data from hard-to-reach locations. Battery power makes the sensor suitable for use in places without external power.
The digital output can be configured in the app, for example, so that 0 V = 0 Bar and 10 V = 100 Bar, depending on the application.
The sensor offers accuracy to ±40 mV and resolution to 10 mV.
Operating principle
The Neuron VDC Digitizer reads the analog DC signal and converts it to a digital value.
Every 10 seconds the sensor measures the voltage and, if the change since the last measurement is greater than 2 V (or 200 mV depending on the version), the sensor sends the data immediately. Otherwise, the data are sent every 2 minutes by default.
