The LAM 301.100 is an industrial laser distance sensor suitable for robust distance measurements over a very long distance. Ranging up to 3,000 meters on a reflector and up to 300 meters on natural surfaces, with a measuring speed of up to 2,000 measurements per second. The measurements are available via an RS-232 interface and 4-20mA output.

There are different measurement options such as:

  • Single measurement of a distance after receiving trigger signal on digital input or via serial interface
  • Single measurement of speed and distance based on trigger signal
  • Continuous measurement of a distance (up to 2000 measurements per second)
  • Continuous measurement of speed and distance (up to 100 measurements per second)

The two digital outputs make it possible, for example, to indicate whether an object is within a certain range or at a certain position. It is also possible to send out a start and end position using these two switching outputs.

The LAM301.100 can be used in combination with RS-232, after saving the parameters the laser distance sensor works standalone.

The laser class 1 ensures that the laser sensor is safe to use.
