Description

The LAM 301.200 is an industrial laser distance sensor suitable for robust distance measurements over a very long distance. Ranging up to 3,000 meters on a reflector and up to 300 meters on natural surfaces, with a measuring speed of up to 2,000 measurements per second. The measurements are available via an RS-422 interface and 4-20mA output.

There are different measurement options such as:

  • Single measurement after receiving a trigger signal on the digital input
  • Single measurement after receiving a trigger signal on the via RS-422
  • Continuous measurement at set measurement speed (up to 2,000 measurements per second)
  • Continuous measurement with variable measuring times (robust measurements on different measurement surfaces)

The two digital outputs make it possible, for example, to indicate whether an object is within a certain range or at a certain position. It is also possible to send out a start and end position using these two switching outputs.

The LAM301.200 can be used in combination with RS-422, after saving the parameters the laser distance sensor works standalone.

The laser class 1 ensures that the laser sensor is safe to use.
