SBC 15

The SGC 15 is a controller unit intended to be used in conjunction with
the SG 2 or SG 15 self-contained light curtain series with OSE output
(modulated fail-safe output signal of 900 Hz), where a double safety relay
configuration is required. The controller supplies a fixed 24 V dc output
voltage. When the SGR receiver OSE output is present, then the SBC 15
safety output relay is closed. When the SGR receiver OSE output is not present,
due to beam break, short circuit or cable break,then the SGC 15 safety output
relay is open and changes to safe mode (output relay contacts open).
In the case thatone of the safety relay output contacts is blocked due to
overload or short circuit, then the safety output always changes to safe mode.
