General Description
The Neuron Vibration RMS HT is a battery-powered, wireless sensor that measures RMS vibration acceleration using a triaxial accelerometer and transmits the processed data to the Neuron Cloud.
The sensor offers a measurement range of 0 - 12 g RMS with a resolution of 1 mg. In addition, it features an integrated temperature sensor, which measures the ambient temperature of the object within a range of -40 to +105 °C. To avoid heat influence on the radio transmitter, the cable between the radio transmitter and the sensor probe can be extended up to 5 meters.
The sensor is housed in an IP67 enclosure, which provides protection against dust and water. Its compact size, low weight and easy mounting make it a powerful device that is ideal for predictive maintenance and monitoring vibration levels at various industrial machines and facilities.
Operating principle
The Neuron Vibration RMS HT measures acceleration in three axes for a period of 80 ms every 2 minutes. From this, the sensor calculates the RMS-g value of acceleration and transmits this data, including temperature data, to a nearby Neuron Gateway.
The gateway transmits the data to the Neuron Cloud, where users can view and analyze the vibration data for their assets.
