Safety edges are rubber safety strips, also known bumper strips, from Haake which are used as edge protection on doors or moving machine parts. Think of application in the automated acces technology such as with revolving doors, gates and fences. Unlike safety bumpers, safety edges are used in applications with a short braking distance up to approx. 40 mm. A distinction can be made in the braking distance and the type of mounting profile.
Telco Sensors has a wide range of photoelectric sensors, light grids and radar sensors. These optical sensors are used for the passage and security when entering and leaving at gates and fences. Telco Sensors sensors are easy to install, have a strong power and have a high immunity against external light.
Telco Sensors SG10 series light grids that are specially designed for securing sliding gates, fencing and other statically arranged and horizontally closing access systems. Moreover the light grids are suited for outdoor applications. The SG10 is available with profile heights of 85 cm up to 280 cm and a choice can be made in range up to 10 meter or 14 meter.
It is also possible to choose for a Master/Slave system where both the entrance side and the exit side of the application are fitted with a light grid. The conclusion is that at all times prevent entrapment, injury and damage to persons, vehicles or objects.
The ULD 913 from Hotron is an induction loop which is layed underground with a single or double coil for the detection of industrial vehicles in the access technology for example with gates or fences. Because of an output with permanent presence the closing of gates, doors and barriers are prevented in the case of a present static vehicle. This sensor is especially suited for the detection of high trailers of trucks and has 4 adjustable frequentie ranges (20-140 kHz). With just one controller it is possible to control two induction loops for a cost efficient solution.
