Distance lasers

We have a wide and deep range of distance lasers, so that every challenge can be bridged. The laser distance sensors from Sensor Partners are developed to measure distances consistently and without contact in industrial environments.

Each series offers a different quality that comes into its own in the applications for which it is suitable. Most important is the measuring range; this varies from length measurements of 5 meters to 3000 meters! In addition to this, there are also special ATEX-compliant distance lasers that can be used for distance measurements in critical applications with a risk of explosion. This is made possible by a special ATEX housing with which the remote sensor is equipped.

To be sure that the lasers connect to the application, there is the possibility to choose from various connections (M12 and M16) with a different number of pins. Supporting interfaces are: RS232, RS422, SSI and Profibus.

LASE series

The LASE 1000D series consists of distance lasers with the choice of a variety on a reflector or without one. Respectively they cover measuring distances of 800 and 110 meters. The sensors support a great number of industrial interfaces which makes these easy to implement in existing and new systems. The sensors can not only measure distances but also positions and levels with very high accuracy and speed (20 kHz!).

The LAM 5 series

The LAM 5 series includes 5 types of laser distance sensors. Four models (LAM 5.11, 5.12, 5.13 and 5.14) have a range of 5 meters on natural surfaces and thus work without the use of a reflector. They are equipped with both digital and analog outputs. The LAM 5.21 has been specially developed for use on overhead cranes and has special functions for “Anti collision” and “Tandem mode” and has a range of 70 meters on a reflector. overhead cranes and have special functions for "Anti Collision" and "Tandem mode" and has a range of 70 meters on a reflector.

LAM 34 series

The LAM 34 series are industrial laser distance sensors which are suitable for distance measurements that require fast data handling. With a speed of 30 kHz, the LAM 34can perform measurements up to 250 m with a relflector and 30 meter on natural surfaces as accurate as up to a few centimeters. The laser is completely safe for the human eye at a wavelength of 905 nm. The LAM 34 in IP67 housing is optimized for system integration and suited for applications in industrial environments due to its durability to impact. The laser sensor communicaties via a RS-422 and RS232 interface.

The LAM 50 series

LAM 5x.xx sensors have proven themselves in a wide range of industrial applications. They can be used to measure distances as accurately as +/- 3 millimeters, determine positions, perform level measurements and register movements. Measurements are up to 150 m. on a reflector and 30 m. on natural surfaces and are performed accurately, quickly and without contact by means of phase shifting. Equipped with interface options such as Profibus DP, SSI, RS232 or RS422 together with adjustable analog outputs. Optional heating makes these sensors operational in cold environments, both indoors and outdoors.

The LAM 70 series

The new LAM 70.101 laser distance sensors deliver unique measuring performance, designed in a very compact housing. These specifications will ensure that many new applications are possible within industrial automation.

LAM 300 series

The LAM 300 series are industrial laser distance sensors suitable for robust distance measurements over a very long distance. Ranging up to 3,000 meters on a reflector and up to 300 meters on natural surfaces, with a measuring speed of up to 2kHz. The measurements are available via an RS-422 interface and has a double digital output and an analog 4-20mA output. The laser class 1 makes sure that the laser sensor is safe to use. Also available as a moderl which is suitable for measurements in ATEX environments.

LAM 1200 series

The SP-1200-HR is a very reliable industrial laser distance sensor with a maximum measuring distance of 1,200 meters on a reflector and 600 meters on natural surfaces. The laser has switching frequency up to 1kHz and communicaties via the RS232 interface. The SP-1200-HR is infrared and has a fast output. The laser distance sensor also contains a point laser for positioning.
