Laser edge detection sensors
The edge detection sensors from the RED series from Sensor Instruments are specially designed for inline detection and counting of one side of a product or object. For example, during the production and processing of newspapers, magazines, single sheets of paper, cardboard, flow packs, sheet material, welds and other flat products, which often (partly) overlap in the production process. The RED edge detection sensors recognize transitional differences of down to 0.1 mm. The software is optimized in such a way that it can reliably handle contrast and gloss differences of the object to be detected.
