Hour meter in vehicles

The vehicle must be located and then cannot be used so that maintenance personnel who have access to the meter reading can record it. Manually noting meter readings at the correct vehicle is a labor-intensive task that must be done accurately, then also entering the data into a computer to update the electronic logbook. Manual processes mean there is a risk of human mistakes in all required steps, which can lead to the recording of the wrong measurement value in the logbook. Such errors can lead to lack of maintenance at the right time, or scheduling and performing maintenance when it is not required.
The Neuron hour meter has no mechanical parts and has no problems with strong magnetic fields. As soon as the vehicle is started, the Neuron IoT hour meter will automatically monitor and count the running hours. The recorded meter readings are Automatic Wireless transferred to the Neuron Cloud, both during use and when the vehicle is parked. Optionally, the data can be loaded into your maintenance software via an API key.
In areas with strong magnetic fields, such as aluminum smelters, electromechanical counters will have trouble counting correctly. The Neuron Hour Meter has no mechanical parts and has no problems with strong magnetic fields in an aluminum smelter. An IoT engine hour meter will continuously monitor the ignition status on the vehicle and count how many hours it has been since the sensor was installed. The hour count value is automatically transferred to maintenance scheduling software both when the vehicle is in use and when it is parked.
