We will be at the PRSE (Plastic Recycling Show Europe) at the RAI in Amsterdam on June 22 & 23. We can then be found at booth K14. Here we will exhibit solutions with sensors from Sensor Instruments and Telco Sensors for challenges in some sub-processes within the plastic recycling industry. Among others, the following products will be on display:
The SPECTRO-3-0°/45°-MSM-ANA-LAB-P is a color measurement system from Sensor Instruments developed for performing color checks of samples with (recycled) plastic pellets/granules. As a result, the quality of the (recycled) plastic can be monitored for color and clarity at all times.
TagTec is a technology developed by Sensor Instruments in collaboration with Gabriel-Chemie that is capable of recycling plastic based on (previous) use. Chemical markings (masterbatches) in the plastic create a distinct DNA/code for each product. These codes can be read throughout the plastic recycling process using sensors from Sensor Instruments.
Thus, a distinction can eventually be made between (recycled) plastic for chemical agents and plastic for the food industry. This can ensure the quality and safety of the final product.
With the LUMI-STAR-INLINE readers can read chemical markings in a specific area on the recycled plastic during the production process. Also available is the LUMI-STAR-MOBILE To monitor markings on finished plastic products using a smartphone.
With the LUMI-TAU-INLINE readers can monitor whether the correct TagTec marker was used and whether the correct concentration of TagTec particles was incorporated into the recycled plastic. Also available is the LUMI-TAU-MOBILE to monitor the readout information for the entire recycled plastic supply chain via smartphone.
Register now for free for the PRSE and we would love to welcome you June 22 and 23 at booth K14 in the RAI in Amsterdam!
